Sidecar is an artisanal cocktail bar in Greater Kailash, part 2, Delhi. It is run by the team behind the award-winning bar, Cocktails & Dreams Speakeasy.
We are proud to present yet another interpretation of a bartenders bar where we are doing most of our flavor extraction ourselves including bitters, syrups, grogs, and tinctures. We are focusing on producing some of the finest craft cocktails ( made with lots of love & care of course!).
On the first floor, we also have a bookstore by Hachette publishing house where guests can buy from a curated list of books. For when you’re in the mood for a caffeine kick along with your favorite book, we’ve got an exquisite variety of tea and coffee. While the good folks at Kaffa Cerrado manage the coffee, the handpicked selection of teas is from Anandini Himalaya Tea and select tea estates in Darjeeling,
On the second floor is situated our baby (pretty massive baby that is), a beautiful bar full of many exciting ingredients, concoctions, a menu of cocktails, some classic, some seasonal and most craft. We also will take forward our very popular “Whatever you Say” cocktail, from Cocktails & Dreams, Speakeasy, which is all about trusting the bartender to come up with a drink based on your preference of alcohol base and flavor. The bar is going to be lead by award-winning and renowned mixologist, author and co-owner of Sidecar, Mr. Yangdup Lama.
The bar also boasts of a live band area, which shall be hosting resident bands from time to time. The music shall be a mix of blues, country and rock and roll.
The food is designed, curated and presented by our dear friend and partner in crime, Tarun Sibal. He comes from a long lineage of catering and F&B business. We love our chicken rice, and boy has he delivered on Chicken rice. The food at Sidecar picks on beautiful and wholesome classic dishes, presented in a modern classic way. With a mix of Oriental and Continental dishes, the menu has seasonal and fresh salads and soul-warming soups. Also serving some scrumptious bar plates, wholesome grills and bowls, and seasonal, lovely desserts.
We, at Sidecar, believe in working on reducing carbon footprint, saving our oceans and being as eco-friendly as possible. Hence, we have tried using seasonal and local ingredients only. We also use steel straws for drinks and use locally produced crockery.
